Reputation can be a fickle thing, as Eddie Fisher knows to his cost. It is not good enough to be a great popular singer or a Hollywood film star, what the public remembers is the gossip, the scandal, the affairs - and in Eddie's case, it has to be said, over the years there has been an accumulation of all three.
