Jenkins became one of the elite in the music business. First as a musician then as an arranger, composer, lyricist and orchestra / choral conductor.

He was responsible for so many hits and was sought after by the likes of: The Andrews Sisters, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra to name just a few!

Gordon Jenkins first came to notoriety when he got a break composing and playing with the Isham Jones band on “Blue Prelude”.
