This is a re-issued collection of former Stan Kenton vocalist June Christy singing with the Jerry Gray orchestra and Shelly Manne combos. Two versions of "Midnight Sun", one with the combo and the other with the larger group, are among the highlights. Also included are "Willow Weep For Me", "How High The Moon" and others. You've heard June sing these songs before for Capitol, but these arrangements are equally good. Like it's title, this CD is a lovely way to spend an evening
