Among the well-known songs covered are "Trouble In Mind" (an all-purpose Blues classic), "In The Pines" (derived from the Folk-Blues "Black Girl"; Lou Dinning also turns in a stunning version on JASMCD 3518), "You Are My Sunshine", "Home On The Range", "The Trail Of The Lonesome Pine" (no resemblance here to Laurel & Hardy’s well-known rendition), "Bury Me Not On The Lone Prairie", and others which will ring varying chords of familiarity. We feel that the slight imperfections heard on a few tracks are far outweighed by their musical pleasure.
